At the doorstep of Bordeaux and at the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Haut-Bailly, Cru Classé de Graves, has stood in the midst of a single-block, 30-hectare vineyard for over four centuries.

Settled on one of the highest hills of the appellation, Château Haut-Bailly benefits from a mosaic of soils and subsoils composed of gravels, sand, clay and marine fossils. This exceptional terroir provides incredible consistency and insure an amazing quality, year in and year out. A 4 hectares plot of century-old vines is the heart of the vineyard, with six historical grape varieties of Bordeaux: dominant Cabernet Sauvignon is co-planted among Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carménère. A rare, amazingly well-preserved heritage.
