Dear Wine Lover,
We are pleased to invite you to a wine tasting hosted by Ms. Marie-Hélène Faurie, Deputy Director of Château Brane-Cantenac, who will visit Hong Kong in October.
Château Brane-Cantenac was founded in the 18th century, producing one of the most highly-regarded wines of the Médoc in history, and was ranked as a 2ème Cru Classé (Second Growth) in the 1855 classification. Situated on the deep gravel soils in the heart of the Margaux appellation, the 75-hectare estate has been managed by the Lurton family since 1925.
The current proprietor Henri Lurton took over the estate from his father Lucien Lurton in 1992, with extensive improvement in the vineyards, winery and cellar, bringing this once underperforming property to the next level. With the management of Henri Lurton, the wines now show exceptional weight and concentration, with the haunting bouquet and quintessential elegance of Margaux.
