Dear Wine Lover,
We are pleased to invite you to a weekend tasting featuring 25 highly rated wines from Chile to discover the country’s ultimate terroir diversity.
Chile is an exceptionally long country – almost 4,300 km from north to south, approximately the length between the northernmost to the southernmost point of continental Europe. If we say the “Old World” nurtures thousands of individual terroirs across different countries, the producers in Chile are working on hundreds of thousands of terroirs with the vast number of valleys and grape varieties.
There are four principal wine regions in Chile. Coquimbo is a dry and cool area benefited from the sea breezes of the Pacific Ocean and the altitude of The Andes. Aconcagua is a small but more famous region enjoying similar cooling influences. Central Valley is the country’s most historic and prestigious place, renowned for its premium Cabernet Sauvignon. Southern region is noticeably cooler and wetter due to the latitudes planted with high-quality cool-climate varieties.
