We are pleased to invite you to a wine tasting hosted by Mr. Daniel Andrés, Winemaker of Clos Apalta, who will visit Hong Kong in August.
Nestled high up at the Apalta Valley in Chile, the namesake winery was founded by the Bournet-Lapostolle family, a renowned fine wine and spirit producer in France since the 19th century, whose dream is to craft the perfect wines from exceptional terroirs around the world. The century-old vineyard was planted between 1915 and 1920, and many of the vines are ungrafted, producing high-quality grapes of Carmenère and Cabernet Sauvignon with optimum maturity.
Today, the estate is managed by Charles-Henri de Bournet Marnier Lapostolle, the 7th generation of the family. With a passion and a desire for perfection, the team embodies the French culture of Grands Crus, crafting a perfect wine which is handed down from generation to generation. It is recognised as one of the top wines of the country, with awards including 5 times "100 points” by James Suckling and “Wine of the Year 2008” by Wine Spectator.
