We are pleased to invite you to a wine tasting hosted by Mr. François de Nicolay, owner and winemaker of Domaine Chandon de Briailles, who will visit Hong Kong in November.
Located in the heart of Savigny-lès-Beaune village, Domaine Chandon de Briailles is situated in a beautiful house designed by the same architect who was responsible for the Château de Versailles in Paris. It was founded in 1834 by Countess Chandon de Briailles, who is from the same family of the Champagne house of Moët & Chandon.
Today, the domaine is managed by the 4th generation of the family – François de Nicolay and his sister Claude, who farms the 13 hectares of vines according to biodynamic principles (certified since 2012). The wines are made with a large percentage of whole clusters, with practically no new oak used, to truly reflect the terroirs with sublime purity and finesse.
