Dear Wine Lover,
We are pleased to invite you to a Cognac tasting featuring the latest terroir expression of Martell – The Martell Single Cru Collection.
Founded in 1715 by Jean Martell, a native of Jersey, Martell is the oldest of the great Cognac houses. For three centuries, it has produced, exported and marketed cognacs that are internationally renowned for their quality with its identity founded on three key concepts: elegance, complexity and balance.
The new collection represents an important landmark in the 300-year history of Maison Martell in that, for the first time, every cognac in the collection is crafted with eaux-de-vie sourced from a single terroir, namely Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. Each Cru is associated with a specific taste and aromatic profile, resulting from a variety of factors, including geographic location, soil composition, climate and exposure. Available in very limited editions, these exceptional cognacs represent less than 1% of Martell Cognac enjoyed worldwide.
