    Dear Wine Lover,

We are pleased to invite you to a weekend tasting featuring 24 highly rated wines from some of the best producers in New Zealand, including Felton Road, Dog Point, Pegasus Bay, and more.

Located at the southwestern Pacific Ocean, New Zealand is one of the most isolated and southernmost wine-producing countries in the world. Although New Zealand just accounts for less than 1% of the world’s wine production, the Kiwis gain world recognition thanks to the meteoric rise of their Sauvignon Blanc in the 1980s.

Over the years, plenty of other grape varieties have shown their immense potential, especially the Burgundian duo Pinot Noir and Chardonnay which have long been cultivated with great success across the country. While the Bordeaux blends of Merlot and Northern Rhône-styled Syrah thrive on the unique Gimblett Gravels soils in Hawke's Bay, cool climate white varieties like Riesling also get their footholds on the South Island.
