This showy, flamboyant offering from proprietor Jonathan Malthus is primarily Merlot. It exhibits a deep ruby/purple-tinged color as well as a gorgeous nose of ripe cherries interwoven with barrique, licorice, and loamy soil smells. With superb fruit, medium body, and a silky texture, it is ideal for drinking over the next 7-10 years.
