Deep crimson with aromas of rich cassis fruit along with hints of clove, blackcurrant pastille, cedar, eucalyptus, dark chocolate, kirsch and licorice. Full bodied and finely poised, with ripe blackberry tones, tight, fine-grained tannins and a long, extended finish, it gives a distinct impression that it will travel very well with careful cellaring.
