About The Pack
The 2018 Mondot is 100% Merlot; 50% comes from the estate and 50% from the new parcels. Deep garnet-purple colored, it springs from the glass with bright, vibrant red plums, fresh blackberries and kirsch scents followed by notions of wild blueberries, cracked black pepper, underbrush and damp soil with a waft of lavender. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers loads of crunchy red and black fruit, with rounded tannins and plenty of herbal and red fruit sparks lifting the finish. RP

Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls effortlessly out of the glass with vibrant notes of crushed blueberries, baked plums and blackcurrant cordial with hints of bouquet garni, underbrush, clove oil and cast-iron pan. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a sturdy frame of firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing earthy. RP

Composed of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Reserve de la Comtesse springs from the glass with vibrant scents of ripe blackcurrants, black raspberries and baked plums, plus suggestions of pencil lead, cedar chest, ground cloves and lilacs. Medium-bodied, the palate is elegantly crafted with fine-grained tannins and lovely freshness nicely framing the delicate fruit, finishing earthy. RP
