While kangaroo is a symbol of Australia, Kangaroo Island is the country’s third-largest island located off the coast of Adelaide in South Australia. It is one of the undiscovered nature paradises best known for its native fauna and flora. The young but promising viticulture industry here gathers at the northeastern corner of the island, producing high-quality Shiraz and Cabernet-blends with its cool maritime climate and unique landscape.

On 12 Nov (Thu), we will have Jacques Lurton, the 5th generation winemaker of Bordeaux’s Lurton family and a famous flying winemaker, who founded The Islander Estate Vineyards which is probably the most important single wine venture on the island. He will be joined by Joch Bosworth and Louise Hemsley-Smith of Springs Road Wines, who handcraft organic wines from their small 10-hectare vineyards, to introduce you the wines made in this pristine island.
