The history of Domaine Laroche is closely linked with Chablis. Located at the “Obédiencerie”, a former monastery with wine-related heritage since 1128, the winery is still producing wines in this historic Chablis monument. Today, it is one of the largest producers in Chablis, owning over 100 hectares of vineyards including some of the most celebrated Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards.

Geology is the secret of Chablis - its distinctive terroir of Kimmeridgian soil is made up with prehistoric marine fossils. On 22 Jul (Thu), Grégory Viennois, Winemaker and Technical Director of Domaine Laroche, will share with us the story of the domaine, and his winemaking philosophy on crafting Chardonnay wines with the region’s signature crystalline purity, racy acidity and intense minerality.
