Climatically, the vintage was marked by a mild winter with little precipitation. On January 23rd, a beautiful snowfall blanketed our vineyards. Spring was very rainy, and managing the health of the vines required significant effort, with precise and timely interventions continually interrupted by heavy rains until June. The summer period was characterized by intense heat, yet with unusual and frequent rains. Sunny and windy days, accompanied by significant temperature fluctuations at night, contributed to the balanced ripening of the grapes. The 2023 vintage stands out for its exceptional finesse, expressiveness, and lower yields.
