A slight gold hue, yet bright. An unusual offering this vintage with full-on flavours and yet it’s not unwieldy. Let this breathe and open up, then expect quince paste, lime marmalade, saffron-infused peaches and creamed honey lees. Plenty of perky acidity, a light phenolic tug; the palate is textural and luscious, a little juicy, too. Intriguing wine and I like it a lot. JH
