Restrained, if not closed, offering pure leather, cassis and black-cherry notes. Medium to full body with long, crisp acidity and silky tannins, creating the sensation of delicacy on the palate. Enjoyable 1990 with an elegant, lighter feel and a tight, crisp finish with almost citrus tension, which is typical of the vintage. JS
