Ceretto

If you want to understand more about Barolo and Nebbiolo, Ceretto is the benchmark label. Barolo, named for a village in Piedmont, is made from Nebbiolo, a grape rarely found beyond the Langhe. Ceretto, founded in the 1930s, is Barolo’s unofficial ambassador.
After proving that Barolo is one of the world’s great wines, the producer was the region’s first to acquire vineyard plots, and went on to pioneer premium single vineyard wines. Ceretto is additionally a fantastic producer of Barbaresco which is also made from Nebbiolo, with more approachable tannins than Barolo.
