"At a full 10 years of age (8 on lees) its bright, pale straw hue is a marvel. Age has blessed it with delightful layers of freshly churned butter, almond nougat, toast and the slightest wisp of wood smoke, yet its focus remains resolutely transfixed on impeccably vibrant lemon, grapefruit and crunchy apple fruit. The focused acidity of Tasmania draws out a long finish of refreshingly miniscule dosage of 3.5g/L and finely played bitter phenolic grip." Tyson Stelzer

Seven years on lees, dosage 3g/L. Abundant leesy complexity on display here with notes of green apple, fresh-baked apple pastries, complex autolysis hints, juicy white peach, dried honey, clotted cream, nougat and jasmine. Persistent and long with scintillating acid drive and toasty roasted nut and brioche notes entering on the finish. A picture of latent power and grace. JH
