Firm reduction dominates the nose though it is again clear that the underlying fruit is definitely ripe. On the palate the mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors isn't particularly refined but there is noticeably better depth on the more structured, youthfully austere and quite serious finish. Once again, I would strongly recommend cellaring this if you're going to purchase it as it's quite compact though I stress, not hard or unduly rustic. BH
