A big, fruity, hedonistic style of wine, the 2009 Les Ormes de Pez has a dense ruby/purple color, notes of incense and barbecue smoke and oodles of black berry and cassis fruit. It is medium to full-bodied, with silky tannins and low acidity. This attractive, very hedonistic style of wine should drink well for at least a decade. RP
