A hint of herbal tea sits atop the earthier aromas of essence of red berries that are not quite as ripe though they are a bit spicier. The intense, tautly muscular and bigger flavors possess fine mid-palate density while delivering notably better length on the much more structured finale. This moderately robust effort is classic Greves. BH

An equally ripe yet slightly fresher nose blends notes of spice and earth with those of red currant, plum and a very subtle suggestion of wood. There is better verve to the equally seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess very good mid-palate density, all wrapped in sappy, lingering and better-balanced finale because while there is a touch of warmth, it is markedly more subtle.
