A more deeply pitched nose reflects notes of plum, earth, spice and a top note of violet. As one would expect, there is markedly more volume and mid-palate concentration to the bigger-bodied flavors that are succulent, indeed the mouthfeel is velvety, all wrapped in a balanced, clean and lightly austere finale. This could use more depth but that should only be a matter of patience. BH
