An all but invisible application of wood sets off beautifully layered aromas of poached pear, fresh apple, petrol and a plethora of floral elements. The gorgeously textured medium-bodied flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract while delivering excellent length on the balanced, agreeably dry and beautifully long bitter lemon-inflected finish. This is really quite classy and delivers knockout quality for a villages-level wine. If you can find it, buy it.
