Deep crimson with plush satsuma plum, blueberry and mulberry fruits cut through with baking spices, jasmine, roasting meats, sage, espresso, tobacco, licorice and dark chocolate. Full bodied and pure of fruit, powerful, too, with dense fine tannins, fine acidity and a persistent finish that retreats slowly from view. Great stuff. JH
