Dear Wine Lover,
We are pleased to invite you to a Venetian-themed wine dinner hosted by Ms. Domenica Siviglia, representative of Suavia and Musella, at Venédia.
Located in northeastern Italy, Veneto has a long history of winemaking, and today it is the largest wine production region of the country. Named after its Latin root Vallis Polisccellae (valley of many cellars), Valpolicella is famous for its Amarone, a rich and intense red wine made from air-dried grapes. The neighbouring Soave, on the other hand, produces mineral white wines with one of Italy’s oldest grape varieties – Garganega, on the rolling hills of the region with volcanic soils.
Suavia, named after an ancient reference to Soave, is managed by the Tessari family, who have been farming the lands since the late 19th century, crafting terroir-driven wines on the volcanic hills. Musella is situated at an aristocratic villa of the 16th century in a beautiful National Park. Now owned by the Pasqua di Bisceglie family, the estate produces intense yet elegant biodynamic wines with great passion and enthusiasm.
