We are pleased to invite you to a workshop to experience English calligraphy and personalise your own wine with local calligrapher Ms. Charlie Wong at Watson’s Wine Tasting Room.
A unique wine label will leave us a strong impression on the wine, and sometimes it even makes us think the wine tastes better. Remembered with its classic label, Dal Forno Romano is considered as the king of Amarone della Valpolicella. Hailed as “terroir hunter”, Telmo Rodriguez resuscitates some forgotten single vineyards around Spain, including Bodega Lanzaga, a miniature production bottled with a neat but powerful label. In South Australia, Chris Ringland and Yangarra produce some of the best wines in the regions, adorned with their artistic calligraphy labels.
Write Wine is a bespoken project to hand-engrave personal messages on wine bottles for gifting on special occasions. Join our calligraphy workshop to learn how to write stylistically and bring along a bottle of wine to let local calligrapher Charlie Wong inscribe your message for your beloved ones, and enjoy a tasting of a selection of fine wines with beautiful labels.
