After working a harvest at the famed Robert Mondavi Winery in 1997, he launched his own wine brand named after his parents, and immediately rocketed to success. Focusing on Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Rhône varietals, he sources the best grapes from over 100 vineyards across California, and expresses their characters in the boldest way possible with long hang-time for perfect ripeness.

If wine is considered as an art, he is a forerunner who makes, or improvises, his full-throttle wines characterised by his quirky labels related to world history, fine arts and popular culture, which drive Orin Swift to a cult status in the market.
