Britain is great, in many aspects, including sparkling wines today. The British fizz is made in exactly the same way with Champagne across the English Channel, from the vineyards in southeastern England with very similar chalky soils. Recent studies even showed that the English invented the traditional method in 1662, decades before the French monk Dom Pérignon.

Located in Sussex, Nyetimber is among the top and most well-known English sparkling wine producers. Awarded 8 times IWSC’s English Wine Producer of the Year, it is selected to be served at the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.
