Located in Fukuoka Prefecture (福岡県), Tanaka 65 田中六五 is a new star of the region. The brewery, founded in 1855, employs the ancient “Hanegi method”, which presses the sakes with less pressure than machine, to craft pure and mellow sakes with the local Yamadanishiki (山田錦), which is polished to 65% as the name suggests.

On 30 Sep, Mr. Tanaka Katsunori 田中克典, the 8th generation head-brewer, will share with us this unique project of his 150-year-old family estate, and the loud and clear message of the brand – enjoying this sake with fun and pleasure like what the locals in Itoshima do.
