We are pleased to invite you to an exclusive 4-hand wine dinner hosted by Ms. Tamara Amaya, representative of Catena Zapata, curated by Regent Hong Kong and Fogón Asado in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The story of Catena is more or less the story of Argentine wine. In 1902, Catena Family planted their first Malbec vineyard in Mendoza, after sailing from Italy to Argentina. When the third generation Nicolás Catena Zapata, who was honoured as “Decanter’s Man of the Year”, began running the family winery in the 1960s, he drastically modernised the winemaking techniques, and pioneered the experiment on extremely high-altitude vineyards on the Andes Mountains.
In the evening, Chef Amine Errkhis, Head Chef of The Steak House, and Chef Sebastián Cardamoni of Fogón Asado will join hands to create a unique five-course menu to celebrate the art of open-fire cooking of Argentina’s grilling traditions, premium beef, and global culinary influences, pairing with the fine wines of Catena family.
