We are pleased to invite you to a wine tasting hosted by Mr. Sylvain Potin, winemaker and proprietor of Clau de Nell, who will visit Hong Kong in March.

Located in Anjou region of Loire Valley, Clau de Nell was purchased by the legendary winemaker of Domaine Leflaive – the late Anne Claude Leflaive, and her husband Christian Jacques in 2008, from the original owners Claude and Nelly Pichard, who gave the name of the estate, after acting as their biodynamic consultant since 2000.

Sylvain Potin joined the team in 2009 soon after the acquisition, as the domaine’s biodynamic viticulturalist and winemaker, managing a single 10-hectare plot planted with old-vine Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, and also some 100-year-old Grolleau vines. Together with the recently planted Chenin Blanc, the vision is to craft wines of purity and elegance, with the utmost precision and respect to the unique terroir and legacy of biodynamic excellence of this boutique artisan estate.
