    We are pleased to invite you to a wine dinner hosted by Mr. Salvatore Ferragamo, owner of Il Borro, who will visit Hong Kong in June.

    Il Borro is a Tuscan story of history and revitalisation. The “Borro” was originally a castle in Val d’Arno di Sopra, which was transformed into a spectacular estate in 16th century by the Tuscan nobleman and general Alessandro dal Borro. Today, it is owned by the fashion dynasty Ferragamo family, devoted to the preservation of this medieval heritage with the same meticulous craftsmanship in the art of shoemaking.

    Known for producing high-quality wines since the Renaissance times, Valdarno di Sopra DOC was re-established in 2017 to include local producers committed to organic winemaking. Il Borro is one of the forerunners of the project. They were certified organic in 2015 and conducted extensive research on the terroirs, selecting only the finest grapes and creating wines of great depth and enduring satisfaction.
