The more reductive 2021 Cuesta Chica has notes of gun powder, which are subtle, fresh and elegant, with only 13% alcohol and very good freshness. 2021 has to be the finest vintage for this pure Garnacha, which fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts and 100% full clusters with a 30-day maceration and matured exclusively in concrete eggs for 18 months. This 2021 is more Barolo, combining finesse with power. RP

They "only" used 60% full clusters for the 2020 Cuesta Chica (it's usually 100%), and the wine feels a bit more developed and generous, more a la Rayas, aromatic and open, starting with tertiary aromas with grip, finesse, weightlessness and complex with energy. RP
