A solid, well-shaped, focused and vibrant riserva with aromas of wild currants, Morello cherries, warm herbs and baking spices. It’s medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins, yet it has so much intensity and drive. Structured and balanced, with great energy at the center. Succulent and agile, with a lively core of juicy forest berries mingling with the dried herbs and funneling toward the focused, medium finish. JS

Made in a reductive style but rich and deep with smoky tones, leather, black cherries and a lot of dominant fresh flowers such as violets and roses. Sweet fruit on the palate with crisp, integrated acidity and a relatively light frame of chalky tannins. Medium-bodied with good length. JS
