A ripe but fresh nose blends notes of both red and dark currant with ample earth influence. There is a lovely sense of vibrancy to the detailed middle weight flavors that possess a generous texture while delivering solid depth and length on the balanced finish. This moderately firm effort is definitely on the riper side yet it manages to remain attractively inviting. Worth a look. BH
