Plenty of ripe and dried strawberries with a slate and metal-shavings undertone on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied, it has soft and exquisite tannins and a long and caressing finish. One of the best pinot noirs I have had from Cloudy Bay. JS
Juicy and intense, with concentration to the passionfruit, pineapple, Key lime and kumquat flavors at the core. Details of toasted green tea, lemon thyme and makrut lime leaf add aromatic intensity, with a touch of crunchy sea salt on the finish. WS
A savory and succulent red with strawberry and slate character. Medium-bodied, it has fine and dusty tannins and a tangy, fresh finish. Lemon-rind undertones. So delicious now. JS
Bright and clear with dried-apple, mineral and stone aromas with some honeysuckle undertones. Medium-bodied, this has tangy and crisp acidity, nougat and cooked-apple flavors. Limes in the finish. The vividness is impressive. JS
A chardonnay-dominant blend with pinot noir, with at least two years lees-ageing in the bottle. Rich, flavoursome sparkling wine with a strong toasty and brioche yeast autolysis character, plus a hint of green apple and chocolate box. A mouth-filling and moderately gutsy wine with an ethereal texture. BC
