A wafting and moderately ripe nose features hints of wood, pear and apple compote, floral wisps and a spice nuance. The rich, delicious and powerful bigger-bodied flavors brim with sappy dry extract that coats the palate and buffers the firm acid spine shaping the rustic but long and complex finale. This is a classic Morgeot of generosity and volume that could be enjoyed young or held for up to a decade. BH
