There's an impressive display of fruit density and concentration in the 2019 Old Vine Shiraz. Concentrated black plum, cherry and blackberry fruits pack considerable punch, layered as they are with deep dark spice notes, licorice, Old Jamaica chocolate and oak nuance. Toothsome, compact tannins plunge through the fruit and the finish echos with blackberry compote and earthy spices. JH

Densely packed with hints of baking spices, licorice and dark chocolate, a dark earthy resonance, some roasting meats and graphite for good measure.
