Delicate notes of rose petals and cherry blossoms are followed by cassis, plum and watermelon with ripened forest berries, raspberries and cherries that lean towards the pinot noir. An extended lees time of 18 months gives the wine freshness, with a hint of whipped cream before an enjoyable bone-dry finish.
