An excitingly energetic chardonnay with high contrast notes of starched linen, white flowers, crisp apple, cashew and oyster shell.The palate has an intriguing, silky texture which gives the impression of ethereal lightness, allowing its crisply defined flavours to inhabit the centre-plane of the palate in translucent layers. The zesty, resonant acidity is key, keeping everything in tension right to the deceptively concentrated, savoury and stony finish. Remarkably well-balanced with excellent line and length. BC
