The 2022 Marlborough Sauvignon + is composed of 98% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Pinot Gris. This is complex and spicy, rich and full, with orange peel, star anise, fennel, hints of Campari, arnica, lemon and bison grass, oxalis and tatami mat—all good things. It’s long through the finish and kind of statuesque in its outlay of flavor. Attractive gourmand quality. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. RP
