This is a tip-top offering – not too much of anything, just a balance of cherry fruit and pips, chinotto, wood spices and woodsmoke, a little autumnal too. Lovely perfume. Mid-weighted at best, the tannins supple, the acidity cleansing, and there’s good texture. JH
