Amelia is the premium duo of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay recently launch by the Chilean wine giant Concha y Toro. The grapes are sourced from a single Quebrada Seca vineyard located in the cool-climate Limarí Valley, one of the northernmost wine regions of the country, with only 22 kilometres from Pacific Ocean, enjoying cool morning fog and sea breeze, and rich calcium carbonate soils similar to those of Montrachet Grand Cru in Burgundy.

On 19 May (Thu), Mr. Pablo Pressac, representative of Amelia, will join us online and share the exciting journey of the creation of this cool-climate project in Chile, a country that is more famous for its full-bodied reds. We will be tasting the Amelia Pinot Noir and Chardonnay together to experience the revolution of cultivating these two Burgundian classics in Chile, creating wines with elegance and finesse on a par with their counterparts made in elsewhere of the world.
