Dear Wine Lover,
We are pleased to invite you to a vertical tasting hosted by Mr. Matt Sutherland, 2nd generation of family winemaker of Dog Point Vineyard, who will both visit Hong Kong in May.
Based in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, Dog Point was founded by Ivan Sutherland and James Healy, who put New Zealand wine, especially Sauvignon Blanc, on the world map 30 years ago. Today, it is managed by the 2nd generation, focusing on only three varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, planted on their New Zealand's largest certified-organic vineyard.
After their white wines, Dog Point’s Pinot Noir is also rapidly gaining popularity among wine critics and wine lovers. Using six different clones from vines dating back to 1983, the wine is delicious in youth and ages with grace and detail, which wowed the world when the family launched a “10-year-aged release” project in recent years to showcase the incredible potential of New Zealand wines.
