Often when sparkling rieslings are as citric as this they can be a bit hard, but this has terrific textural complexity on the sleek, chalky and creamy medium-bodied palate. Long, quite austere bone-dry finish. A pure riesling, although it doesn’t taste that way at all. Disgorged in April 2025 after three years on the lees in the bottle. JS
