This is wild and savory, full of green-olive, rosemary, iron and brambleberry aromas. Then super silky and elegant on the medium-bodied palate with lightly peppery, fine tannins. Salty and herbal freshness throughout. Very fresh and already drinkable, classy and full of character nonetheless from a difficult vintage. JS

Licorice, rosewater, iron, green peppercorns, Kalamata olives, cardamom, figs and mulberries on the nose. It’s medium-bodied, savory and deliciously peppery, with firm and tightly knit tannins. I like the salty, stemmy and dark spice undertones. Long and focused. JS
