Very serious and complex aromas of oysters, cooked apples, fresh seaweed and crushed stone. Full-bodied with a phenolic tension and depth. Chewy and impressive, with a phenolic finish. Excellent structure. No malolactic. Super drinkability and possibility to age. JS
This has aromas of green apples, almonds, olives, chestnuts, fresh white corn and salted sourdough. Cloves, white chocolate and ginger, too. Builds on the palate, developing into toasty and spicy layers. Full-bodied and oily, yet vibrant and energetic. Unique. JS
Very flinty nose with an upfront chalky, mineral edge to the lemon zest and cream. A touch of seashells. Round and creamy on the palate with an almost waxy feel to the middle. I like the fat here with lovely acidity and intense salinity. You’ll smack your lips after a sip. JS
